Single-core Cables

Single-core cables up to temperature class A 85°C (T1 / acc. ISO6722-1 and SAE J 1128) and 80°C (acc. JASO D 611)

Single-core cables of temperature class up to 85°C and 80°C /3.000h are mostly PVC insulated. Cables are available with thick, reduced or ultrathin wall thickness, with symmetric, asymmetric, fine and compressed wire conductor.
Cables in this temperature class are used in areas with low thermal stress like vehicle doors and rear lids.

Single-core cables up to temperature class B 105°C (T2)

Single-core cables of temperature class up to 105°C/3.000h are normally PVC insulated. Cables are available with thick, reduced or ultrathin wall thickness, with symmetric, asymmetric, fine and compressed wire conductor. Cross-section 0,22mm² and 0,35mm² in symmetric wire conductor are as well designed to for use with IDC-technique.

Single-core cables up to temperature class C 125°C (T3)

Heat-resistant single-core cables of temperature class up to 125°C/3.000h are normally made of cross-linked Polyethylene (2X – T125), cross-linked Polyolefin-Copolymer (42X) or Polypropylene (9Y). Special PVC can be also used with a thin wall thickness.

The main application of these heat-resistant single-core cables is the engine compartment at moderate temperature range up to 125°C/3000h and with a good resistance to mechanical stress at high temperatures. A halogen-free, flame-retardant insulation material (21X HFFR) is also available to meet future environmental requirements. If increased flexibility is required, especially at bigger cross-sections, an insulating material of Polyolefin-Copolymer (42X) is a best choice. XLPE-insulating materials are qualified for data and sensor cables, due to their excellent electric properties over the complete temperature range.

Single-core cables up to temperature class D 150°C (T4)

Heat-resistant single-core cables of temperature class up to 150°C/3.000h are normally made of cross-linked Polyethylene (2X – T150).
Single-core cables in this temp-class are designed for applications in engine compartments, at operating temperatures up to 150°C/3.000h and with a good resistance to high-temperature pressures.
A halogen-free, flame-retardant insulation material (91X HFFR) is also available to meet future environmental requirements.

XLPE-insulating materials are suitable for data cables, due to their excellent electrical characteristics over the complete temperature range.

Single-core cables up to temperature class F 175°C (T5), class G 200°C (T6) and class H 250°C (T7)

Heat-resistant single-core cables up to 175°C/3.000h (temperature class F / T5) are insulated by Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (7Y / ETFE). These cables have excellent mechanical properties and chemical resistance and therefore they are used especially in harsh environments.

Up to 200°C/3.000h (temperature class G / T6) silicon material (2G / SIR) or Fluorinated ethylene propylene (6Y / FEP) are appropriate for insulation. Fluorinated ethylene propylene (6Y / FEP) has good mechanical properties and chemical resistance. Silicon material (2G / SIR) instead has besides the very good thermal stability also a very good flexibility. Single-core cables up to a maximum of 250°C/3.000h (PTFE) (temperature class H / T8) are insulated by polytetrafluoroethylene (5Y / PTFE) and perfluoroalkoxy alkanes (51Y / PFA).

Operation purposes of this product are mainly seat heating applications and exhaust aftertreatment systems.
